The 2010 Carnival & Village Show

The Carnival will follow a new route - starting from Station Road at the earlier time of 12 noon - heading through the Square - High Street - and Hoe Road - to enter the Hoe Road Recreation Ground where the show awaits.

The Village Show - formerly the FETE - has been renamed to depict the broader scope of this new after-arage event. The Parish Council have co-operated by leasing the Hoe Road site to us - providing the opportunity to expand with over 40 stalls and many new and exciting displays supporting local clubs and organisations. Amanda Holden is expected to open the Show, which will include displays of classic cars and vehicles, a jazz band, a brass band, childrens games, morris dancers, a dog agility display and interactive SCUBA diving experience.
